VCP Attends PM Talks
Visionary attends University PM Talks – Hosted By Georgetown University 

 

Michael D. Thornton, Sr, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Visionary, was a featured guest speaker at the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Situational Leadership in Successful Project Management event that was held at Georgetown University. Situational leadership has been a model for leaders since the 1970s. Although the adaptive leadership style has evolved over the past few decades, the tenets remain relevant to today’s leaders who seek to address dynamic organizational requirements and assist employees in achieving professional potential.  During this year’s session, the value of situational leadership was thoroughly explored amongst project managers to assist them in determining if leadership through the lens of flexibility and partnership can facilitate the successful achievement of project objectives.
